About Suleena...

She is a rare breed of buji to be frank. The usual buji's are headstrong and/or selfish, but she is neither. She is a caring and carefree girl with a very optimistic outlook on life. I think we ta lked seriously for the first time during the infamous 'Tsunami" episode. I found her to be very rational and she had a take-no-prisoner attitude.
I think we became friends rather late and I have to thank our all india tour for that.
It is tough to be consistent but she is very hardworking and has consistently been the class topper inspite of all the odds.
I am afraid I have run out of words here...
I say ciao with warm and sincere wishes for her success in life.

My Experience ABout 2005

2005 Jan 1: We were drinking the champagne on the terrus of the hotel at OOOOti
"Ellannavum nalla fittayirunnu". I stopped drinking on that day. To me that tour was something horrible and fantastic 2. Around Sep 13th again i started drinking and stopped on the end of the tour. "Not Silly Matters".
According 2 astrology forecast, this year shud have to be a great year for me. At last towards the end, i'm looking forward to new changes in my life. this year brought me terrible changes to my life.

1) The great dream job "offer" to Huawei Technologies.
2) The one gr8 seminar, i've never done such a gud job here and most pathetic seminar abt "AI".
3) Most horrifying software lab exam in my history was on last 6 sem, CC
4) I got my bike on March 16th, it is one of my greatest events in my life till today
5) New friends in this year
After all, i didnt seem to succeed in many tings that i ought to win. My friend went to CUSAT to get MCA. He was the only close friend left in NDD. But it is 4 his sake, so its k. Towards end, the routines i've lost last year is coming back. Seems i'll be the old "Pappu" with my friends enjoying each moment of life. For the past three days, i'm with my friends on evenings as i did b4 2 yrs.

Amazing, just amazing!!! that was what 2005 was for me.. The year i enjoyed the most in my whole life... The main events i can remember are

New Year Party
It all started with a superb new year party with some 'Smirnoff' and Champaigne+cake cutting.. It was the first (and probably the last) time that we partyed a New year together and that too at 12 midnight!!!

Agasthyarkoodam trekking
A relief to the boring college schedule came with the Agasthyarkoodam trekking.. It was a real test for our physical and mental abilities.. The journey was a total adipoli!!!! It is full of memorable events.. Nitro boost throughout.. 'chera' on the way.. then trying to catch 'Minnaminungu'... Pattu's fufu debut... Haf's famous banana chapter!!!

Shreds season
Shreds brings to my mind mixed up thoughts... The good parts were the journeys to Ernakulam.. we friends together... staying in the lodge.. fufus in the night... kappa and meen curry... night walk through the city... But the test days used to be sad ones... the varied expressions... The day of the Satyam test... I will never forget that... The only time when we brought in some gugu(me only B-E-E-R!!!) to the Shreds program!!!

ACES inauguration
As usual, we were running everywhere when the day came around.. The program was a total success except for the fact that 'Inspector' oo***fied us by not giving the duty leaves for the days...

Illuminati
It was time to prove our strength... and we proved it... It was a grand success and much better than the Colloquium... I really enjoyed the hunt for sponsorship... selling thakkudu's birthday sweets and eating biriyani for that sum!!! I missed half of the event as i was busy at Shreds for L&T... Still i was able to join for the Trance nite... and after a week came the happy news abt the results of L&T...

All India Tour
What more to say about it??? I enjoyed each and every moment... xpecially the gugu on the first day at Delhi... going to bar... singing on the street... then the push-ups.. and finally the 'sword'... Same was the case with the last day at Goa... but the people changed...

Rakhesh chettan's wedding
This was another day when we partyed out... tried the local 'angadi'... thank God i can still see... playing cards at night... next morning, bathing near the well... it was just great!!!

That was the last partying for the year... going to the marriage just the day before DBMS... and that too in that Scorpio...

Throughout this year, i strengthened my friendship...added new friends... This year changed my innerself... Got more exposure by joining TIME... and those classes... it was just awsome!!! and the gugu parties this year... some at sree's house just for the sake... (that White Mischief)... and then sreenath's treat for chettan's marriage... then Rakhesh chettan's treat (angadi)...

year 2005

well a gud idea to blog abt each ones' 2005 experience...thxs hafeez for this….
this year if an all round took is taken was a mizture of happiness and sorrow...anyway life is like tht....
year started with the s6 tour and we celebrated tht together at ooty...a nice and friendly celebration with all frinds together(an unforgettable one)....i got some gud friends during this tour (ekka especially)..and the company of one of my best frinds really helped me at tht time....the very first day we went for boating and the journey back home after a memorable tour....the following days of the month saw cooperativeness of s6 cs students....illuminati and colloquim…...we all enjoyed tht to a gr8 extent......
towards middle of the year we had our s6 semester xams and the combined study for tht was superb(esp at manee's house).....i think the study at her house bought many of our frinds more intimate......The later half of the year witnessed some of the most unforgettable happ like our blog and our last year tour...it was during september.. i am so sad even now as i was not able to njoy tht with my frinds...those days i thought life is full of fury and sound signifying nothing but learned to manage tensed situations and those 15 days i will never ever forget in my life.......the months after tht were more of a mixture of feelings......and the lessons learned will b always of gud help....now this last month of the year our s7 xams are over...we had many gud times in class rooms esp with AI and project....the moments spend with my frinds are always of happiness and i hav quite a gud number of frinds who are intimate and will remain for a life time........... now when i look back i understand tht it is this days of college tht a man gains a lot of experiences for his life.....wish u all a colorful new year full of happiness and a year were all ur wishes will come true............with prayers.......

My 2005...

An enigmatic year to be frank. Cannot put the good and bad into a balance and weigh. Only time will tell how good or bad this year was.
My academics hit an all out low by the end of the year and I guess thats a bad thing (is it? :-D). Then Poocha athinde paatinu poyi (CAT=poocha)! Plans for our Cluster fell through after Sahadevan sir went. Got into some damaging firing from Gopakumar sir.
Some trouble regarding our project as well.
Financially, a very bad year, starting with trouble regarding the bank loans.
Personally, got into a depressive mode around the CAT time, but I think now I am recuperating quite well.
Then came our association inaugration. I hoped to do well this time considering the resources we had. But we became complacent and that showed. A valuable lesson in being humble and simple. I am talking about the presentation we made as I was the one guy on whom it was entrusted! Otherwise the event was grand as usual. We missed Nitin and his style. He was the big difference if I could add something to our complacency.
Then......, I may have missed the bad things...
Now for the dandy stuff leaving all the depressive stuff and ending in style.
Well, the year started with our s6 tour. It was really wonderful for me personally. I think I have gained a lot from that tour, mainly a bunch of good relationships, besides opening up more towards people and becoming more of a social guy than my usual anti social self.
Then on the college front I am proud that I could do some really good work in Colloquium. I enjoyed the pressure of managing stuff and teamwork especially while making the quiz software. The first, best software I designed.
Then came Illuminati, our dream project. Though it fell short of our initial grandeous plans we did a wonderful job considering the situation. Even with low participation we lost only 4000 bucks. And I will never forget my first rock show! It was really good.
I got a new computer. A dream come true. Something I yearned for the past 5 years. Got Graphics card to play games. But now no time to play!
Got net as well. A new avenue of discovery for me. Mainly musically. I have been devouring all sorts of rock music since August.
I started blogging. It is as if I found a new way of expression. Got a lot of ideas I have got to blog!
Now the grandiose thing. Our final tour. It was an experience of a lifetime. It has helped me to evolve as a human being. I completed a transformation and became a lot more of a good human being. I could cement some of my realtions which I hope would last till my last breath and made new ones in the process. Not just relations but my perception about our great country had a radical change. I finally could think out of box. I became mature enough to realise the vanity of people and to assess and judge people on their merit. Trust me! This is now something I have sharpened to the hilt and has become my valuable addition to my arsenal.
I know this is a long post. But I couldn't resist when Haf asked me to do this. I request everyone to pour their heart out here...

ANAND - A man of policies

My best and senior most grnd I’ve gained after tinkan. A “white” hearted guy wid lots of luv and intimacy 2wards his frnds. He values frndship 2 tht extend than anyother in our class. I think he knows its value the most. In my life in mcet, he is the one who points out my minute emotional changes. It shud b because of our intimacy he does tht. He is a gentle, genuine personality who is occasionally picturised as a “Mandan” but he is not. Anand, u r d one of precious frnd I’ve gained frm this cs.

Typical behavior: Always take deviation 2wards white and say to all girls in his sight “NEEYOKKE ITHRAYEEE ULLUVEDI.…”.

NB:= yes. Ur policies r ur personality. But ur decisions sometimes prove not 2 b gud enuf. And “Aliya enne idikalle….”

ROLLU – A huge with ant’s mind

Another frnd frm cs. The s5 tour made the break-thru in our frndship. I’ll say she is a big gal with a mind of an ant. Although v say like tht she’s not so. She is the one who gave me the most moral support in tuf times. We did our mini proj together and we’ll b doing major proj together. She is a kind hearted(may b a big heart there), seasonal “mandi”, hyper-sensitive gal. Although she has matured look in the dias, the child-like behavior in a big packet doesn’t make a big impression among most of us. She is the best frnd of mine.

Typical behavior of roller: Huge animal which changes sound and behavior 2 LKG student at times.

TINKAN – A man of caliber packed in gr8 wall

I’ve been seeing him since my third standard. He was just like a hero then, who conquered the hearts of many ladies there. But wat happened 2 him after 10^th? It is the question I’m asking himself and myself. He always shows glimpses of his caliber in studies and all other extra curricular fields. He lost his individuality in course of life. The gr8 wall packed arnd him is nothing other thn complex. Complexes r natural but this is 2 much. To me, u possess the caliber. B an individual & try 2 depend on ur self. U r so much devoted 2 anything u do whether it is frndship or anything else. Luk at the catch he had taken. Noone goes for such a catch gambling his own body in such a local match. He returns back every thing in double other thn money .

Typical behavior of Tinkanosaurus: It often tells abt “SNEHAM” and praises himself as a “PAVAM” with a “KARAYUM” gesture.

NB:- If anything has hurted u forgive me. U know me better thn any one else. U r the one who is always with me all time. Its 4 u tinka, be positive and try 2 b better by removing ur senti feeling.

NARU - A creative soul with “built-in” dangerous mind

The brain behind this blog. Without him we’ll not be able 2 be in touch wid ourselves. We were gr8 frnds since 3^rd sem I think. He is the one who resembles to my frnds JACK and ‘Arun Krishnan”. Three r technically gr8 big guys who can convert their brain into huge sums of money. My greatest number of fights in my life will be with 2 thadiyans. One my frnd “Arun Prakash”, second “Naru” . I always confessed after a serious fight with him. I’ve not purposefully fought with him even once; I lost my control at times. He knows me very well and forgives me. I know he knows me better than many in our class, because I came 2 know many situations frm tinkan and myself. If I take a list of my frnds, 80% of them are thadiyans. He is a kind hearted person who judges everyone and every situation acc 2 their merit. As panackal always says its often difficult for everyone 2 follow me, but only naru knows how 2 get my ideas and polish them 2 perfection. If I’m about 2 tell everything abt him in this blog, it will hang the server because v had gr8 number of situations together fighting 2 reach the benchmark and goals and interesting sub incidents. If I come 2 college a day, it is sure tht I’ll get a hit frm him. I cant remember a day with out his goals and hits. A gr8 fan of “F5”.

Typical Behavior: Very energetic animal which rocks each and everyone who comes in its way. “Terrible one”. Guys don’t get into his path.

NARU:- I really thank u 4 exempting me frm “BONE - FIRE”. U know I felt sleepy at that time. Thts y I responded in such a way.

Kiru, Pattu, Panackal, Haf and Divakar

These guys, I think I don’t much abt’em. About kiru, it didnn’t seem he is fit 4 me as a frnd till v went 2 shreds 4 getting call letter. I thought we were poles. During the journey with him, I came 2 know we always had almost same reasoning and judging 2wards others. Till frm there, I always tried 2 boost our frndship. Tinkan has played a major role in changing my opinion abt him. Till now, I don’t know his stand 4 me. Aliya, if lessen ur irritating nature, u’ve still a chance(“Got it??????”). u still have a romatic mature style

Pattu is fraud minded gud man, I think. He is always friendly 2 me frm first sem ownwards. As kiru has mentioned earlier in this blog, he seems 2 think 2 highs and doesn’t see basic issues. There is always “VALIPPPEEEERU SWABHAVAM” hidden in him. But seems 2 b useful, gud, lovable guy.

To say abt panackal, he is always irritating guy 2wards me. Still I find something useful in his irritations. But panackal, I’ve a advice 4 u “There is no use in playing a fiddle in the back of a buffalo(anand, aliyo njan chumma paranjathane..)”. This guy has prevented something(I don’t want 2 disclose) I’m about 2 do many times which I think I’ll lose frndship with him.

Haf, I think he is a secret tank. He can b a successful spy 2. (All: EVANE THATTIYAAAL COLLEGILE ELLA SECRETSUM VELIYILAKUM…..). “A PROVEN MANDAN”. He always tries 2 prove tht he’s great Mandan by his expressions. Every genius has a “Mandan” hiding. But 2 u haf, thing the converse is true. Aliya, u r a nice guy with a straight forward mind, who always bursts the truths. U don’t want 2 be in any conspiracy 2. One ques 2 u da : “Nee eeeee secrets ellam koodi engane thangunnu????”.

Next Arun. Man…., he is purely movie oriented. He compares every situation with a movie scene. He has gr8 skill of narrating a movie scene, many times I’ve lost my money on his narrations (he exaggerates certain scenes. May b it is because of his skill). He has always a convincing speech. He shud not have come 2 btech; he had a better furure as lawyer or politician. He shows tht any quality can be competed by brilliant speeches. “NAAAKKUNDENKIL ULAKKAMELALLA EVIDE VENAMENGILUM KIDAKKAM”. There r many thing I’ve to tell about him, but I’m fed up with this long text.

campus blues!!

rite now in this nite iam with naru sree and pana! sree and pana is sleepin! naru reading some adventure book and me wandering in the net! i dont know wat tommorrow holds for us. but i dont want any tomorrow to happen coz iam afraid we will lose all the joys of being together.this semester exams are almost over and v r moving to another hectic schdeule for next semseter with projects, labs, classes..blah blah!Time is running short and after another 4 months we will be in differnt parts of the world, maybe with only a littile time to spare 4 each other! i dont know how many of us will see each other after the classes.even now i meet most of my friends only at college. i never met any of u even accidentally at any shopping mall or at any busstops or at any cinema halls. now consider a situation when some of us will be in trivandrum, some in chennai, some in banglore and some others abroad.iam afraid v will be connected to each other only thru some forwarded mails or some occasional chatting that too if everybodys time match others. Thrown into an alien land in a fight for daily bread isnt there a chance that our relationships may fade away with time?? only time can tell abt this but for nw we will make our 4 months the most memorable one !!

WHY ANAND LOST "OS"?

Major weakness of my best friend is the colour "white". This color always make some attraction in him. If we observe his life, everyone can undoubtedlt infer that white has played a major role in his life.
K, lets come back to the subject. Lets look at OS teacher. He cant find a least dust of white in her other than chalk dust. Noone can accuse him for losing os. "Without WHITE what LIFE". So i hereby declare that my best friend ANAND has nothing wrong in his part, i strongly support him for losing OS.

Well,i first started 2 talk with her in S4,when she ,ganu and rollu shifted 2 back bench. Whenever teacher approched us,v (me,nibin and anand...i think...not sure) used 2 sing "Suleennaaaaa......" 2 get her notebook and show tht 2 teacher!!! even now,frankly speaking,i know a little abt. her!! Valiya bujy aanengilum aathinte aahangaram onnum illa aavalkku!!!! she has a very frank and a strong charecter....2 qualities hard 2 find in many gals.....always willing 2 help,and has got a gud sence of humour also......anyway,thts all i can think abt. u now....veere vallathum oorkumbol comment aayi add cheyyam!!!!

Dashing Dhanya!

sorry for being late.. let me start with my dhanya memoirs.. we (dhanya, me jyothi n susan) were the first benchers in the first year. she was then our class rep too ( and a good one at that) she used to be a very good company during the class hours & she had an answer for almost all the problems that were given in the class(especially for maths & electrical) . After that even though our places got shifted, she was there whenever i needed her for help. For me she always had been a friend who was ( & still is) very open, slightly sarcastic, out-spoken & frank abt her opinions, ambitious & realistic. one thing i like abt her is that she never lies or say sugar-coated things for anything in the world. she has her own opinion abt anything & everything(which is sometimes misunderstood as 'jaada') i think, becoz of all these character traits in her, if anyone want to know a sincere & unadulterated comment abt themself, she is the best choice u can ever ask for. she always reminds me of hermione granger(loong before the poll thing) - i dont know why & i've told her that. she is the only one who calls me in the study leaves , just for a casual talk & that calls frm her really really mean a lot to me ...so thank u dhanya for making that little effort to keep in touch and u'll always be in my prayers.. Now lets say a few things that she usually does whenever seeing us--she always starts complaining abt small small things with a peculiar frown-like expression in her small-circled face, (eg., " enne ishtamillathathu kondalle .. blah blah blah" ; "enikkariyam ningalokke valiya aalukal, nammal paavam! + another set of blah blah" etc etc) she'll definitely make a face for this!
In short , i think by now i know her strengths & weaknesses & knowing those, i just know that i cant hate her for silly, petty issues & i love her as a friend & admire her as a student. And let me quote abt her typical sagittarian nature as a summary:
" How she feels and what she thinks are identical with how she acts and what she says."

About Danya...

I noticed Dhanya on the first day of college. The bus had some 150 people stuffed and I was groaning when the bus stopped at her house. I was quite relieved to find just a diminutive girl instead of a gang of hefty guys. She used to be an active member of our quiz club and I have found that she has got better brains for intuition and a penchant for knowledge unlike most other girls.
We became best of friends in s6 after some tumultuous ‘changes’ in her life and outlook. She has changed a lot from the early days when she used to speak that horrible manglish and talked of big things like NASA *yawn* Space, stars etc. I feel tat the changes are essentially for her best interests.
She is a really good friend and one you can rely on in bad times. I can certify that personally. She is one of the very few to whom I feel like letting my guard drop. I don’t really feel that she is a mandi. But she does have that mandi look with the unique shape of head like a kochanga. In some matters though she is not very judgmental and had to suffer afterwards, literally earning her nick name.
She is a brilliant girl and she can really shine in her profession owing to her excellent academics and her really good communication skills.

I heard about this so called "fashinoble, smart class rep" from my neighbor.but the reality to which i met was horrible! Then for a while in 3rd semester ival ente thalayil ayirunnu! Annu njaan onnu manasu vachirunakil danyae u still can talk about that couples theory! Ninakku bagyam illathe poyi! I often doubt wheather danya really is the duaghter of Madavan Nair, coz enthaye ival mathram inganae mandi ayi???

She always furiated boys by asking insane doubts to teachers and by her "numbers" to get attention from teachers by asking text books to them. She always wanted to excel in academics and always wanted to become a smart girl, which at times she couldnt do, eventhough she acheives top class marks in exams! In her thrust to make her life & career better she always forget her partners, at least i think so!

My dear Mandi maramandi!!!

Abt Danya, I noticed her for the first time when she jumped up to become the Class Representative during S1S2... Then i thought that she was a buji... Soon that impression abt her changed and we became friends... She was famous for her stupid doubts during that period. She used to be that typical girls-only-school product although she claims proudly that she had mingled with boys during her Kindergarten time!!! The first time i saw her crying was when Archie proposed her. I really felt sorry for her then. But later i realized that she is made for the cry!!! Now she has made the highest number of karachils than any other girl in the class... During the first and second years she used to talk abt great things such as Astrophysics... She used to say that one day she wanted to become Kalpana Chawla and join the NASA... She used to talk great philosophies and we thought that she was some extra-ordinary girl... and xpecially in that Manglish accent!!! But later she dropped these gundadies (vedi parayal)... By S3 we became close friends but still she doubts whether we are like that or not!!!! Everyone in the class except one calls her MANDI!!!! Yes, she is a real mandi. But she is from a family of great scientists and engineers...

Leaving aside her father, her brohter is a great scientist in the class of Einstein or so. His first invention was the conversion of a mouse to a calling bell which is displayed infront of her house... His latest one is a theft alarm. It owrks on IR, whose path when cut makes a call to a mobile phone from the land phone... Great work na by a school student!!! But Danya is more concentrated in evolving new theories. She had taught me the famous theory called the "THEORY OF COUPLES" which was formulated by her after years of study and observation... It says that "In a marriage life, the boy should be atleast 3 yrs elder than the girl due to physical, biological and mental reasons, inorder to lead a happy life"... Unfortunately under certain conditions she had to violate this theory.. But still she claims that the theory is right... Now guys and gals, if you dont get an assignment to copy from on the eve of the submission date, dont worry. Danya has the solution.. She has successfully proved that we can write the assignment via voice chat!!! xpecially AI assigment... On the corollary, you can also organize combined studies in this way...

Now personally saying, I had great time fighting with her. She has a vazhakkali nature... Always ready to quarrel with anyone except Odie!!! Whenever I see her, I feel like fighting with her.. Dont know why!!!! Yet she is clever, intelligent and talented and her placement in Nest and Odie proves that... But she need to be more mature and need to have a more patient nature!!! I noticed this girl from the very first day of s1s2..the first impression i got about this girl was not so good..at that time i never thought of making friendship with this girl..but gradually all these thoughts changed when i came to know more about her... we became friends by the middle of s3.. then there was a great hike in our friendship and very soon she became one of my best friends.
we did the mini project together and we really had wonderful experiances those days..
i donno how this girl got the name mandi by which is she commonly known nowadays..actually she is not a mandi..she hav got really good brains..
Then she have changed a lot from how she used to be in S1S2 ..as pattu have mentioned her talks in manglish are not be seen nowadays..and then there are visible changes in her philosophies too..

Well hmm what to say abt him??? i think we became company a little late!! i think that too started with the kodai tour when naru started his fufu!!! it was during that time that we came to know each other very well!!! Soon we became close friends... Gals this thadiyan was responsible for destroying ur cute little brother... hihi... As pattu said his old system was a horror. only he knew how to boot it. but i think that was better bcoz with the new system he is playing games all the time and i fear that he is slowly deviating from his studies!!! Well wht 2 say abt this Lazy-Genius???? Me and naru had been in 1 batch right frm S1-S2. Had real fun 2gether. A sure shot 4 IIM (if he wld study well) naru has been an integral part of CS. Whehter it b the association inaguration and Colloquium or it b fufu-gugu paripadies. A really nice and understanding frnd. Kallan kuruttu budhiude aashananu. Tht i really understood during our S7 grafixz lab. This guy is a good cricketer with a nice footwork. Can bowl some really good deliveries also. I think he is the only guy in our college who can bowl with right and left hand!!!!! His room is a real mess with CD's and books scattered all over his room. His old computer was a real masterpiece.
